Food for Thought
Faith Development is important for all of us.
Here at Columbine UU, as part of our Adult Faith Development, we have Food for Thought, where we can be enlightened, entertained, and energized. It’s also where we can ask questions, express ourselves and grow in our faith. Each time we meet, we discuss a topic chosen by the group and relate it to our shared UU faith. We encourage everyone to participate and contribute to the conversation. Those of us who are already part of Food for Thought won’t miss a week if we can help it! Come join us and find out why.
Here are some of the topics we’ve discussed over the past seven years:
-
Religious freedom
-
Sexuality in our lives
-
Living outside the box
-
Loneliness in the time of Covid
-
When is helping not helping?
-
Impermanence
-
Humanism
-
Human trafficking
-
The future of marriage
-
Unplug the Christmas Tree
We meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month, from 8:30 – 9:30 in the Lounge.
Watch for upcoming topics as they’re listed in the weekly Columbine Connection, and contact Kathy Derrick, or Faith Development, for further information.
Please join us - there’s a vacant chair just waiting for you!
