Growing a Progressive Spiritual Community to Build a Just and Loving World
Generosity as a Tool for Resistance
July 26, 2026 10 am
Rev. Jenny Amstutz
Generosity acts as a powerful tool for resistance by disrupting systems of control, creating self-reliant communities, and restoring human dignity. When dominant structures rely on scarcity and isolation, giving freely becomes a radical political act. Join Rev. Jenny as we explore the joy and connection that comes from a mindset of abundance, generosity and hospitality in a world that tells us that there isn't enough.
During service, children will be invited to join us for our Faith Exploration program. Our program (K-5th) engages the spirit, mind, and body through games, movement, and hands-on activities. Kids start in the sanctuary with the whole congregation before heading to their classes.
For our youngest friends (under age 5), Nursery care is available for the duration of the service.
Topic for this weekend:
FE Classrooms are exploring the theme Ya'll means All in an ongoing summer project called All-togeth-art Altered Books. This week's theme is American History explored via paper dolls.
