Community, Ritual, and Action; Coping with Solastalgia

In 2003 Australian philosopher and environmental humanist Glenn Albrecht coined the term “solastalgia” to describe "the distress that is produced by environmental change impacting on people while they are directly connected to their home environment." Join Rev. Jenny as we consider our “solastalgia” and how we can best navigate these times of rapid changes to the natural world and the places we love.

During service, children will be invited to join us for our Faith Exploration program. Our program (K-5th) engages the spirit, mind, and body through games, movement, and hands-on activities. Kids start in the sanctuary with the whole congregation before heading to their classes.

For our youngest friends (under age 5), Nursery care is available for the duration of the service.
