Throughout the year we offer special adult faith development classes, but we provide several opportunities on a monthly basis. No need to register for most of these adult faith development classes, just watch the eblast and newsletter for more information. The special offerings will be advertised in our Eblasts and Newsletters.
We have a special opportunity June 3rd and July 8th
STANDING TALL IN TROUBLED TIMES IS AN AFFIRMATIVE AND HEALING RESPONSE TO SOCIAL DIVISION. IT IS BOTH A COMMUNITY GATHERING AND WORKSHOP.
When we look out to the world, where do we place our attention?
How often do we count our blessings?
How much time do we spend obsessing about wrongness?
What energy lives within our awareness?
When we focus on what we value, what we stand for, rather than simply railing against what we object to or are threatened by, we set aside helplessness in favor of security, oppression in favor of innovation. We step into our power. From this empowered state it is possible creatively engage what we find threatening, building transformative connection and moving from conflict to common purpose.

The core purpose of Chalice Circles is to provide “formative space” for individuals to grow spiritually with one another. Parker Palmer says that we need wise and dependable support if we are to take a journey where the wise part of ourselves can come into view…We need spaces where we can “find the being in human-being.” A Chalice Circle is a space of acceptance and safety in which group members can explore their deepest values and the mystery of their inner life without judgment or coercion. It is a great place for new people to get to know others.
